Hicks Music is run by Adelaide-based musician, Samuel Hicks, who has an extensive performance experience in a wide range of styles including jazz, classical and pop; both as a soloist and as an ensemble member. Specialising on trumpet, Samuel is also a competent player on trombone and other instruments of the brass family.
Samuel currently performs regularly with the Party Club Band, The Bigfoot Collective, and his own jazz group, the HM Quartet. Samuel has completed a Bachelor of Music Performance (Jazz Trumpet) at the Elder Conservatorium of Music (UofA), in addition to a Graduate Diploma of Education. He has received many awards and recognition over his time as a musician, including:
